RACE DAY INFORMATION
TEAM RIO MEETING LOCATION
The team will gather in Centennial Park across from McDonalds starting at 6:00 am. There will be water available as well as a "drop box" for anyone wanting to drop an item in the box that can be picked up Monday from the Modern Mgmt offices (1625 Broadway/Suite 600). Please do not put ANYTHING you will need before Monday in the box such as your car keys. This box is for items such as extra clothing that you want that morning but do not want to run with.
Remember to bring your race number and your running chip!!!
TEAM RIO GROUP PHOTO
We will take our last 2010 group 6:20 am. Plus we have a couple of fun surprises for you that morning. Please plan to be a part of our SIXTH ANNIVERSARY photo. You have trained hard and we want you to be represented!
GIVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TIME
Please give yourself at least 1.5 hours to get into the stadium, parked and on a shuttle to our meeting location by 6:15 am. Many of our members were upset that they missed the group photo last year due to heavy traffic and packed shuttle busses!
Helpful hint: If you have a friend or spouse whose not running with you, have them drop you at Centennial Park before finding their spot to cheer you on along the course (access Centennial via 440).
CLOTHING
A reminder to NOT wear anything new. Run in what you've been comfortable training in! The Team Rio running shirts are RED this year with a WHITE Team Rio logo on the front and white Team Rio sponsor logos on the back. You can see the color of the red at www.teamrio.org.
NUTRITION
Do not try out new foods on race day. Be consistent!! Eat only what you have been eating during training. Now is not the time to introduce new foods and supplements.

Please note our cheer stations are at the locations below. There will be photos taken at some of the locations so if you see our cheer station volunteers (in our red vol shirts) try and slide to that side of the street so they can cheer you on and get a great photo as you go by.

Our BIG thanks to the Pupaks who will be with us that morning to document Team Rio 2010. Lee and Barbara will be at the start and the finish line.
TEAM RIO KIDS
If anyone would like to come and cheer on TEAM RIO KIDS, we have 120 excited little participants ready to go. The kids completed 25.1 miles either at school or with their parents and will complete the last mile at the Titans Stadium.
